John Bocskay has lived in South Korea for a long time! Since October 1998! He has also been living in Busan, South Korea for the past 17 years. John is the author of a new book which will be available soon called ‘Culture Shock: Korea. A Survival Guide To Customs and Etiquette’. This is a book not for people looking to come to Korea on vacation, but more of a guide for individuals coming to Korea for a long term stay or to live. John also tells us a little about Busan in this episode and how it has changed over his years of living there.

Yes, that’s right! This is one of the reason why Scott was interested in coming to Korea! It’s 1985’s movie Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins!

Scott – ‘I remember watching this movie when I was a 12 year old kid. I became fascinated with Korea due to this movie. Master Chiun was real to me! It wasn’t until re-watching the film as an adult that I even realized that he wasn’t even Korea, back when white washing was a common thing. Although his advice was not accurate like ‘All martial arts come from Korea’, as a kid I still enjoyed everything he had to say! My interest in Korea was born! 17 years later I found myself in the land where martial arts came from only to find out, Master Chium was a white guy!’
